Over the years, many Ghanaians in the diaspora have often been faced with the challenge of owning their homes back home in Ghana. This could be attributed to lack of getting a reliable and competent contractors in building their homes on one hand and over reliance on relatives back home to supervise the projects where in many case some of these relative lack the technical know-house to ensure the quality of service. In effect, some of the diasporas come back home only to meet poorly built houses or non-exiting projects. Some are also faced with the processes involved in mortgage financing back home.
In other cases, Diasporas who own homes back home face challenges of how those houses are managed and or converted into extra revenue steam.
